An educational video for your teams

What your teams need to understand, in the order they need it, with the source of every line.

  • Medical representative training: the disease and the treatment strategy

In France, the certification standard of the HAS, the French National Authority for Health, provides for two scientific topics specific to each product: the speciality or the diseases concerned, and the treatment strategy or state of the art. The film sets them out before the representative starts, then is updated for each new indication.

  • The science behind the product, without claims

Product training starts with the physiology, the disease or the mechanism. We write this part as a separate module, referenced line by line, which attributes no effect to any product and can be reused from one launch to the next.

  • Healthcare e-learning video in short modules

One module per concept, subtitles to follow without sound, files ready for your learning platform. If you assess your field force, the film does not reuse the questions and answers in your assessment bank, as the HAS requires for medical representatives in France.

  • An animated medical congress video that works without sound

Opening a workshop, a sequence in a symposium, a loop on a stand: the film is cut into short, subtitled excerpts. If the workshop promotes a medicine in France, the promotional information charter and the advertising rules apply there just as in sales calls.

  • Defined vocabulary, announced scale

Every technical term is explained by an image or a half-sentence when it first appears, and every change of scale is announced on screen. An adviser, a representative or a clinician can follow the film without being a biologist.

  • Sources on screen and in the written materials

References appear during the film and their full list goes into your training materials. Your responsible pharmacist (pharmacien responsable), who approves your representatives' training materials, receives every line with its source and its exact passage.

A complex object, shown piece by piece

This studio illustration shows an animal cell in cross-section: the nucleus and its pores, the endoplasmic reticulum, the Golgi apparatus, the mitochondria. This is the stuff of a training module: an object that is hard to describe, shown element by element, with every term named on screen.

From launch to workshop, when to train

The same science serves several audiences; the film adapts to each, its sources do not.

A medicine launch: training medical representatives on the disease and the treatment strategy before their first sales call.

A new indication: in France, the HAS standard provides for training and assessment before any sales call; the module is revised from its sources.

An international network: the same scientific training in several languages, for advisers, trainers or medical teams.

A hospital: short modules for clinicians on a piece of equipment, a care pathway or an internal procedure, delivered as MP4 files with their subtitles for your e-learning platform, on quote and purchase order.

A training organisation: an animated sequence for a programme aimed at clinicians, fully referenced and with no product or brand name.

What learners must be able to do

For training, scoping first sets what learners must be able to do after the film; every line is then checked against the exact passage of its source.

  1. 01

    Scoping, in 30 minutes

Objective, audience, where the video will be shown, available references and regulatory points to watch.

  2. 02

    The referenced script

Every line is tied to a reference, with its page and the exact passage that supports it.

  3. 03

    The visuals

Motion design and medical animation, with AI assisting part of the production. Diagrams remain illustrations.

  4. 04

    Checks and delivery

An automated check finds every passage, word for word, on the page cited; two independent AI-assisted audits then re-check a sample in the documents; your review committee, or your MLR review in a pharmaceutical company, approves the final version.

The justification file, in detail

What you receive

The subtitles and the transcript serve distance learning and accessibility; the justification file serves the approval of your training materials.

  • The film and its broadcast files

Landscape for your website, YouTube and the training room; portrait, square or 4:5 for social media.

  • Subtitles and transcript

SRT file and full text: accessibility, viewing without sound and search visibility for the page that hosts the film.

  • The script and the justification file

Every line, its reference, its page and the exact passage, ready for your internal review.

  • The bibliographic references

The full list, in order of appearance, with links to the public sources.

  • The versions you need

Short excerpts, stills, a poster or slides, depending on your channels. Quoted with the final version.

  • Languages

The languages you choose: every translated line keeps its source and exact passage, and the rules of the country where the video is shown are checked at scoping.

Internal training, promotion and CPD in France

In France, employers of medical representatives must keep their knowledge up to date (Article L.5122-11 of the French Public Health Code). The HAS certification standard gives the responsible pharmacist (pharmacien responsable) the task of approving training materials, which carry a visible statement: they are not to be shown during sales calls. Shown to a doctor to promote a medicine, the video becomes an advertisement subject to the visa of the ANSM, the French regulator (Article L.5122-9). For medical devices, the charter of 4 March 2022 also provides for continuing training. For clinicians, a video alone is not a CPD activity: the ANDPC, the national body for continuing professional development, registers providers based in particular on their independence from companies that make or distribute health products (Article R.4021-24). We produce the video; you approve it.

Frequently asked questions

What is an educational video?
It is a video built to teach a specific concept to a defined audience: a learning objective, a progression, images that show what text explains poorly. Assessing what has been retained is done separately. In healthcare, it must also be accurate: in our training videos, every line is tied to its source and to the exact passage that supports it.
How do you create an effective educational video?
Start from a learning objective and an audience, not a topic. Then: one concept per module, vocabulary defined when it first appears, images that show what the voice says, subtitles to follow without sound and sources checked before writing. The first version, up to 60 seconds, lets you test the tone and the level with a few learners before producing the rest.
Does the HAS approve medical representative training?
No. The HAS, the French National Authority for Health, does not approve training: the company chooses its own set-up, remote, face to face or blended, designed in-house or by a supplier, provided it complies with the charter and the certification standard. It is the responsible pharmacist (pharmacien responsable) who approves training and assessment materials. The justification file gives them every line of the film with its reference, its page and its exact passage.
Can an internal training video be shown to a doctor?
Not as it is. In France, during sales calls your representatives use only dated documents, approved by the responsible pharmacist and granted an ANSM advertising visa, and training documents must be clearly distinguishable from promotional ones. To show the film to a doctor, you need a promotional version, with its statements, subject to the visa (Article L.5122-9 of the French Public Health Code). We can write both versions from the same sources.
Can an e-learning video count towards clinicians' CPD?
Not on its own: in France, it can support a continuing professional development (DPC) activity run by a DPC provider. Activities within the national priorities must be delivered by a registered provider (Article R.4021-4 of the French Public Health Code), and the ANDPC registers a provider based on its capacity and its independence from companies that make or distribute health products (Article R.4021-24). For a training organisation, we produce sequences with no product or brand name.

Test a first module with your teams

Describe your topic in a few lines. After a 30-minute call, we produce a first version of up to 60 seconds, in motion design and in the language you choose. You judge it on screen; the quote for the final version comes next, with no commitment.
